GALACTIC is funded by the state of Missouri as a cross-district program for identified gifted students. Meeting the special educational needs of K-5 gifted students requires a differentiated instructional program which accommodates higher cognitive processes/concepts as well as teaching methods appropriate to their advanced abilities and individual styles of learning.
